I love interacting with my patients, becoming a part of their lives, and making them feel comfortable during their visit. Because I work so closely with our patients, I get to know them and I really enjoy the friendships that develop. My job duties include providing preventive dental care, administering local anesthetics and nitrous oxide, performing periodontal treatments, and treatment planning. I also help my patients’ understand how best to keep their teeth and gums clean and healthy between visits. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my two sons. I also enjoy outdoor activities, including skiing and hiking.
The conversations I have with our patients, as we talk about our lives and interests, and the relationships that develop, are why I look forward to coming to work each morning. The people we care for are fascinating, diverse individuals, and I always learn something new from each of them. As a hygienist, I spend a lot of my day offering patient education, helping each person learn the best ways to keep their mouth healthy between cleanings, how to make good decisions, and how to establish excellent habits that improve their oral health and overall health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
I work on a one-on-one basis with patients of all ages, proving preventive dental care, periodontal treatments, and hygiene instruction. The other aspect of my job is patient education; it's a vital aspect of keeping up good oral health habits at home, especially for children. I love working in a professional office where everyone has a positive attitude and is valued as a member of the team. We all bring different strengths to the table, working towards a common goal of excellence in patient care.
I live in Strafford, New Hampshire with my husband Tyler and our 2 young children. We enjoy visiting thr children's museum, playgrounds, and the beach as a family.
Each day I come to work knowing that I’m going to help our great patients by delivering painless cleanings and other care, all while having fascinating conversations with them. It’s rewarding to work in a positive environment where people look forward to coming to see us. In addition to providing cleanings, I work with patients to help them understand the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body, finding solutions that work for them. At night, I go home to my husband, Guy, and our three children, in Barrington.
I love getting people excited about their oral hygiene. When someone understands the connection between great oral health and a healthy body, and they start making real changes in their home care, habits, and food and drink decisions, I know I’ve done well. They’re not only going to have less oral problems in the future, but they’re going to have healthier lives. I offer preventive care, am certified to deliver nitrous oxide and local anesthesia, provide periodontal treatment and maintenance, and sealants. I live in Rochester with my husband, Dan, and our four daughters: Ahlyvia, Savannah, Jillian, and Allyson. We love camping and boating.

Being a dental hygienist is way more than just cleaning teeth! I’m here to help patients learn the connection between excellent oral health and excellent overall body health. So many people avoid the dentist because they are worried about being judged, but that’s not how we operate. Making patients feel comfortable and confident while achieving their optimum oral and overall health is my ultimate goal.

Our patients are the best, and making them smile is the best part of my job. I love that we provide each person with such gentle care that they look forward to visiting us, and whether they’re an established patient or someone new to the practice, hearing their stories is the highlight of my day. I assist our doctor, chairside, during procedures, making sure everything needed is at hand. But I’m always focused on our patient, keeping them updated on what’s happening and how much progress is being made, and checking to make sure they’re comfortable, too. I live in New Durham with my husband, Phil. We have four adult children and three adorable grandchildren. I love spending time with my family, and enjoy reading and baking.

The best part of my job is when a patient comes in very nervous or anxious, and they leave completely relaxed and at ease due to the quality of care we have provided. Seeing their smiles, and hearing their thanks, is a great feeling. I assist our doctors, chairside, while they care for patients. I also take impressions, design CEREC restorations, and make Essix retainers and mouthguards, as well. My husband Seth and I live in Wakefield, with our two dogs, Sophie and Darby. I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

Working closely with our patients to give them a great experience, and getting to know them in the process, are the best parts of my job. I feel particularly fulfilled when a nervous or fearful patient comes to us and we’re able to help them learn that they needn’t worry about a visit here, because we’re so gentle. I provide assistance to our doctors as they perform dental procedures, and I’m there for the patient, keeping them comfortable, updating them on what the doctor is doing, and providing encouragement and distraction when needed. It’s great to help such wonderful people every day. When I’m not here at the office, I’m probably spending time with my husband Brandon, our daughter Shelby, and our two dogs. I enjoy going to the beach and spending as much time outside as I possibly can.

I am engaged and have two beautiful daughters. We love to spend time outdoors in the nice weather, whether we’re going swimming, hiking, or to amusement parks.
I work alongside our hygienists and encourage our patients to be excited about taking control of their home hygiene. When I joined this team in 2016, I knew right away that I found my second family! Each person on our team brings something unique to the practice. It’s refreshing to spend so much time with an array of personalities!

Here, we have the most wonderful patients. They come to us because our team is amazing at providing each person with individualized, gentle care that creates great oral health and beautiful smiles. It’s an honor to help such patients and work with such great team members. Life gets busy for everybody, I am here to help you find out what option works best for you when investing in your smile and going over the different financial options we have here at JD Howard Dental. Working closely with our insurance coordinator Rebecca, we are here to ensure you get the best of your dental benefit if applicable. My favorite part of my job is learning about you and how I can implement your dental and financial needs into your lifestyle. There is nothing more rewarding then a patient leaving our office with a smile! My husband Rob and I live in downtown Dover with our two labs, Lenny and Ruby. We love travel, photography, and volunteering for community events.
It’s a pleasure to welcome new people to our practice, establishing and building relationships with them, and making sure that every visit here is a good one. I love learning about each person’s interests and their families, and being part of their dental experience. In addition to booking our new patients, I also handle appointment confirmations and reminders. My personal life is focused on my daughter, Emma, and family and friends. Together, we enjoy going to concerts and participate in many outdoor activities.
Our amazing patients, and the relationships we build with them, are so rewarding. Because we offer only painless dental care, and our doctors and team members are gentle in their approach, even timid patients soon learn that a visit to our office is nothing to worry about. In fact, many smile and hug us after their first visit, they’re so relieved to know that they’ve found a safe, compassionate dental practice. As our Insurance Coordinator, I work with each patient to make sure they’re getting the most from their dental benefits, and I develop the estimates so a patient has a good idea of what their care might cost before we start treatment. My husband Greg, our two sons, Zach and Alex, and I, live in Dover. I keep very busy with the boys’ sports schedules. Our family’s favorite place to be is at our camp, in Maine.
I feel so lucky to be one of the first people our patients see when they come into the office. I am always looking for ways to make sure every person who comes to us for care is made to feel welcome and comfortable. Whether that’s a friendly, genuine smile when they arrive and are checking in, or answering their questions about dental care, I’m here to help! Among my duties at our office are to update records, help to maintain the schedule and our recall system, and assist our patients however I can. Learning so many new things every day is a lot of fun, and I’m grateful for the knowledge that is passed on to me by our doctors and my teammates.
