Mya has had a MAJOR fear of doctors since she was born. I was dreading her first dentist appointment! She was totally made welcome with the toys and the desk staff and then got to sit on my lap in the chair so she wasnt as scared. They were able to do a full exam on this brave little girl thanks to how patient and kind the hygenist and Dr. Josh were! Thank you...her dad and I are so proud and very thankful for her first experience being so perfect. She is asking to go back already!

I am not a dentist person. In fact, I have always been one who runs at the sound of the drill, and cringes at the feel of the cleaning scrapers. Thankfully, everyone at the practice, from the welcoming receptionists to the capable hygenists to the good doctors are people who make you feel more at ease. The staff knows my previous history, and is very kind and accomodating. While it's certainly not my favorite pastime, going to the dentist has become a tolerable necessity, and I thank them.

Now that I have such fun at the dentist, I've started enjoying myself more at other health-care providers, which surprises (and sometimes annoys) them. I think Dr. Howard should start doing seminars on how to make health care more enjoyable for patients. You're definitely onto something here.

I've always been scared of dentists, scared to the point where I've put off going to one for 7 years. This practice understood my fears (instead of laughing at them, as other dentists have) and took the time to make me feel comfortable. I can't say that I'll ever LOOK FORWARD to going to the dentist, but at least I know that when I go to this practice I'll be well taken care of.

Normally I don't like having work done on my teeth. I get tense and feel sick to my stomach. That didn't happen while I was having work done to have a crwon put on. Dr.Josh was gentle and very in tune to my need for breaks during the process. I would highly recommend JD Howard Dental!!!
